TMMEC OPEN WEEKEND
The Tauranga Model Marine and Engineering Club will be having its open weekend on the 11th and 12th of November. They will have a vast array of model engineering items and locomotives on display for everyone to see. The trains will be running 10am-4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday at 12pm, a special appearance from Big Boy will be on the track to pull a large freight wagon. This special locomotive travelled all the way from Oregon, USA to make Tauranga its new home.

MEMORIAL POOL OPENING POOL PARTY

THINKWATER BOP FAIRHAVEN FIREWORKS GALA
If you missed out on firework displays last weekend, here’s your chance to see some spectacular pyrotechnics. Fairhaven school is hosting a fireworks gala and you can look forward to a night of wonderful entertainment, lots of exciting stalls and activities for the kids. There will be bouncy castles, pony rides, face painting, dart throwing, spot prizes, a silent auction, White Elephant, raffles, food stalls as well as our big bonfire and fireworks extravaganza!! Fireworks to start at 8.30pm for 20 minutes.

TAURANGA WALDORF SCHOOL FAIR AND OPEN DAY
If you have never been to one of these festivals now is your chance – you won’t want to miss this one! Located in a superb setting on the very edge of Welcome Bay on the southbound road to Te Puke, the Fair will host an incredible range of stalls and food, music and entertainment! There will be artisan food, live music, arts, crafts and gifts, children’s fun activities, raffles, Kapa Haka, and so much more.

TE PUNA QUARRY FEST
Set in the lovely garden surrounds of Te Puna Quarry Park this festival features craft stalls, food stalls and entertainment in the amphitheatre. This is Te Puna Quarry Park’s main fundraiser for the year and is a popular family day out. This event is run by Bethlehem Te Puna Lions for the Quarry committee.
