Mum and Bub Fitness
Keep in shape by joining a mum and bub fitness class. A great way to get you out of the house, meet other mums and get some exercise.
Active Mums offer a Mums in Motion class, a postnatal exercise class that that uses a swiss ball and Groups in Action, an intense workout class involving buggy friendly outdoor circuits as well as using the gym.
Kangatraining is a complete workout which enhances endurance, strength and flexibility, all while wearing your baby safely in a carrier. No need for a babysitter! Throughout a Kangatraining class you will work on core strength, correct posture and all exercises are pelvic floor safe. You wear your baby while getting your heart rate going in some choreographed tracks, along with squats, arms and barre routines. Finishing with pelvic floor exercises and stretching. There is no need to be coordinated, or confident in baby wearing yet, these will develop as you attend classes. Your Kangatraining Instructor has been trained by a pelvic floor physio and baby wearing consultant to ensure you and your baby are comfortable and safe throughout class.
